Saving the napkin!
Hi dear readers,
Since a long time, buying things in planet Venezuela is a challenge, but now we are facing the worst time ever!
Some time ago a friend mentioned that in the future, because of the lack of food, we will have to eat soap!!!! Ironically, I can't find my favorite soap!!! Another day a friend suggested me to cut the paper napkin in half, because is hard to find napkins too! So, in the afternoon we cut the napkins! WOW! What can I say? No comments, just trying my best in saving, cutting, stocking, all kind of things.
Even with this situation, we are good, we always have food on the table thank God, for the soap, we started using hotel soap we brought from our trip to Hawaii years ago! Every time we travel we bring food, soap, and now the newest product in our list is the toilet paper! LOL It's ridiculous to have to buy toilet paper in another Country, but what can we do?????
From almost 3 & 1/2 years ago until now we are having the same problems, even with my very best positive attitude, I think this will take forever to end.
You, who can buy, eat,
and drink, remember to be thankful for the ordinary, because your ordinary is a luxury for us! Let's continue saving the napkins until one day we can use them to clean all this mess!
All the best,
G, V, V & O.
